PS. I called that early on btw :) super fun playing predictions with former Miss India Neha Dhupia on Twitter though. I’m sure it helped that I was watching with a bunch of boys who pretty much said “no contest” the moment they spotted Miss Ivian (and then proceeded to yell, “ai ai ai” every time she appeared on screen!) I hope someone told her she has a Bollywood career just waiting to happen should she decide to head East!
Ivian Sarcos: “Unfortunately I lost both my parents at a very young age which led me to study for five years in a nunnery. I spent my five years in there and my dream was to become a nun.”
Ivian, a former orphan, the 21-year-old human resources graduate who once dreamed of becoming a nun, beat the other 122 contestants to claim the coveted title. You go girl! (Now sing something from The Sound of Music.)Psst!
Is it just me or did Miss America look pretty bummed that her reign was over?Stats.
